Class of 2025

Rooted in Craft. Wired for the Future.

Priscilla Carvalho is the founder and principal designer of Priscilla Couture, a Philadelphia-based atelier known for its bespoke bridal gowns, couture garments, and fine alterations. With over 18 years of experience and more than 5,000 custom pieces created, her work reflects a deep commitment to craftsmanship, individuality, and emotional storytelling through design.

Born in Goiânia, Brazil, and raised in a family of Italian artists, Priscilla was immersed in creativity from a young age. After relocating to the U.S. in 2002, she opened her first atelier in 2005 and quickly gained recognition for her intuitive approach to tailoring and her ability to translate clients’ personalities into one-of-a-kind garments.

In addition to her bridal and couture work, Priscilla is the creative force behind TKINK, a conceptual designer wear label that explores identity, fluidity, and the digital mindset of contemporary society. TKINK blends sculptural forms, provocative storytelling, and experimental textiles—offering garments that are as expressive as they are wearable. Its curated capsule collections reflect a commitment to thoughtful design and conscious production.

Driven by a vision to meet the needs of the present without compromising the future, Priscilla integrates mindful practices, zero-waste production methods, and digital tools like Clo3D into her process. She collaborates with partners in the U.S., Brazil, and India to ensure a responsible and inclusive approach to fashion.

As a 2025 Designer-in-Residence at the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator, Priscilla continues to evolve her dual-brand vision—bridging traditional couture with modern technology and redefining what designer wear can be in today’s world.
