We believe in ‘sexiness in strength’
We create pieces to empower.
Caitlyn Ellerbeck is an emerging artist and fashion designer who is pushing the boundaries of streetwear.
She combines fine art, sustainable design, and powerful narratives in all aspects of her work. She launched her brand, ruin studios in 2024, two years after graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where her upcycled denim senior collection was featured in Vogue Magazine. After graduation, Caitlyn honed in her skills and aesthetic by working in design for Diesel and Free People.
Her work and core values celebrate the power and resiliency of women, and offers an authentic & individualistic design approach.
ruin studios is rooted in slow, sustainable fashion and mindful consumption. Masculine and feminine, ruin offers upcycled one of ones, bespoke cut and sew garments, thrift flips, curated vintage, and original art.
We approach design from an artist’s lens- giving new life to deadstock + recycled fabrics, hand sourced vintage, and discarded garments. Every piece we make is approached like a piece of fine art, created just for you.
We believe in ‘sexiness in strength’
We create pieces to empower.
We embrace experimentation to create one of a kind wearable statements. Our collection features seasonless wardrobe essentials with a twist. We embrace rawness, imperfection, and sensuality while remaining effortlessly cool, with a dystopian undertone.
Our core values are sustainability, authenticity, and empowerment.
